lyrics
Try
We’re always over our head so we must try
Take heed in these words
It’s alright
I know it makes you nervous
But in the end we'll chase in take the sun
Hold tight
I’m losing my grip slowly on my mind
The feeling it hurts
But don’t shy
I know you’ll find your purpose
And in the end will break and taste the sun
The devil makes his lovers
You and me remain
I know that when he calls your name
You take his side
The devil makes his lovers
Of you and me today
And now I have no reason
I will make you notice
Follow me and we’ll see it all through
You’ve fallen away
We’re killing with words
Be not afraid
While you try to betray but the only person not your enemy
Is not getting older
So seal your fate become the sun
The devil makes his lovers
You and me remain
I know that when he calls your name
You take his side
The devil makes his lovers
Of you and me today
And now I have no reason
I know it’s taking over
Trust in my mistake
I want to live forever
Just to fade away
And when
The devil makes his lovers
You and me remain
I know that when he calls your name
You take his side
The devil makes his lovers
Of you and me today
And now I have no reason

I've always been on the fence about Elder. The musicianship was always there but it never clicked. Omens and Innate Passage have certainly changed that. QNdNas7kQgBG5fi
With all respect due to Nick DiSalvo, who is incredibly talented, the proggy vocals are not what I love the most with Elder. What I love the most, I'll admit, is the incredible synthy, krauty goodness, from the track Sonntag on the previous album to the wonderful delving LP Hirschbrunnen. I think these instrumental Sessions were a major step in that direction, and I love them dearly for it. Coraxio
The sophomore album from former session musician Imraan Paleker highlights his modern soul, alt-rock, jazz, and electronic sensibilities. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 16, 2020
Literally the only issue I found in that album is that there seems to be a typo in the first track’s title, which went from “Copper Wasp” to “Cooper Wasp” between the EP and that release. 🙃 Alice M.
